1. Call to Order.

The meeting of the Clinton School Board was called to order by Mr. Randy McCaslin, Board President, at 6:04 p.m.

2. Roll Call.

Those Board members present for the meeting were: Mr. Nick Gatliff, Dr. Kyle Hensley, Mr. Billy Tomlinson, Mr. Randy McCaslin, Mr. Bobby Pack, and Mr. Mickey Parish. Mr. Richard McCormac was not present for the meeting.

3. Approval of Minutes and Financial Report.

Mr. Mickey Parish motioned to approve the minutes of the regular meeting held on February 19, 2007, and the financial report, as presented. Mr. Bobby Pack seconded the motion, and it passed unanimously (6 - 0).

4. Bids.

Bids were presented to the Board for used vehicles and parts. Mr. Mickey Parish motioned to allow the superintendent to review the bids and award them at his discretion. Dr. Kyle Hensley seconded the motion, and it passed unanimously (6 - 0).

A) Bus # 30 - 1981 Dodge (bid awarded to Troy Keeling - $220.00)
B) Bus # 47 - 1988 Chevrolet (bid awarded to United Pentecostal Church - $550.00)
C) Bus #13 - 1993 Carpenter (bid awarded to Herb Prout - $937.00)
D) Bus # 41 - 1990 Ford (bid awarded to Herb Prout - $236.00)
E) Flatbed truck at Scotland campus (bid awarded to Herb Prout - $359.00)
F) 5.9 Cummins motor (bid awarded to Roy Clark - $402.00)
G) Wheelchair lift (bid awarded to Herb Prout - $52.00)

5. Employment.

A) Resignations.

Mr. Billy Tomlinson motioned to approve the following resignations, effective at the end of the 2006-2007 school year:
Elena Petroukhina - Art Teacher
Melanie Crider - Preschool

Mr. Bobby Pack seconded the motion, and it passed unanimously (6 - 0).

B) Employment.

Mr. Nick Gatliff motioned to employ the recommended certified staff for the 2007 - 2008 school year. Mr. Mickey Parish seconded the motion, and it passed unanimously (6 - 0).

Mr. Bobby Pack motioned to employ the following administrators for the
2007 - 2008 school year:
Deborah Swink
Danny Thomas
Mark Gammill
Elaine Treadaway
Hal Ward
Frank McMurry
David Smith
Mr. Billy Tomlinson seconded the motion, and it passed unanimously (6 - 0).

6. Executive Session.

The Board entered executive session at 6:33 p.m. to discuss personnel. The Board exited executive session at 7:47 p.m.

7. Adjournment.

Mr. Billy Tomlinson motioned to adjourn at 8:00 p.m. Mr. Mickey Parish seconded the motion, and it passed unanimously (6 - 0).
